    Presidential elections were held by the authoritarian Hosni Mubarak regime in Egypt on September 7, 2005, the first to feature more than one candidate. 6% of the vote. The elections were marred by widespread reports of voter intimidation, payments to Mubarak voters, and pressure on poll workers to instruct voters to vote for Mubarak.
