Cooper) parachutes from a Northwest Orient Airlines plane with $200,000 in ransom money. He has never been found. The year's #1 song was "Joy to the World" by Three Dog Night. Franck Esposito, Danie Mellor, Bo Outlaw would arrive in the same year.
